Thermo King V-220 Series Features

Thermo King V-220 series is a line of vehicle-powered refrigeration units that use an engine-mounted compressor. These units are lightweight in construction and feature a variety of options to meet the needs of your specific application, whether it’s fresh or frozen. The V-220 series units come with a SmartPower electric standby option (115 or 230 VAC) and Automatic hot gas defrost, which makes it easy to defrost the coils in the unit without having to stop the vehicle.

The V-220 series units also come with a coolant heat option and an optional heating package (hot gas or coolant heat) that allows you to use the unit in different temperature ranges. For increased capacity, the V-220 series units are available with a MAX option. The V-220 series units also come with Jet Lube compressor lubrication and Jet Cool compressor injection cooling (MAX units) which helps to increase the longevity of the unit.

The V-220 series units are equipped with a DSR III controller and are available with R-134a or R-404a (MAX) refrigerants and 12VDC. The unit includes an installation kit and is backed by the Thermo King dealer service network, with nearly 200 locations across North America. The TK 13 compressor is typically the appropriate compressor and is available with the following belt configurations: Double A groove, Poly V groove, 7.99 in3 disp.
